Hyundai Unveils Innovations at CES 2026

Hyundai is holding a presentation at CES 2026 on January 5 at 4 PM EDT, where it will reveal over 30 mobility technologies. The event can be watched live on the HyundaiUSA YouTube channel or on the Hyundai global channel.

What to Expect from the Presentation

Hyundai will highlight the Holographic Windshield Display, a new system that projects dashboard information directly onto the windshield, allowing for a clear view of the road without distractions. This expandable 18.1-inch display will also enable passengers to watch videos without the driver being able to see them.

The technology was developed in collaboration with Zeiss, an optics specialist. Hyundai Mobis, a subsidiary of the company, announced that mass production will begin in 2029.

Innovations in Robotics

Another highlight will be the new robot Atlas. It is part of Hyundai's robotics strategy, which aims to commercialize AI-based robotics. The design of Atlas resembles a dog, reflecting Hyundai's acquisition of Boston Dynamics in 2020.

According to Hyundai, "this next-generation Atlas demonstrates a commitment to building safe and adaptable co-worker robots."

In addition to mobility innovations, Hyundai will discuss its areas of operation in electronics, chassis safety systems, and low-power display solutions. It will also showcase an augmented reality (AR) display and propulsion systems for electric vehicles (EVs).
